Tonight there was a party for a boutique I used to work at.  There was a moment I talked to my former boss who was with one of my favorite shoe designers and he introduced himself to the two girls I was with, but said nothing more - completely snubbing me.  And despite being with two girls, I was the only one in heels (gorgeous A Wang boots) and obviously the tallest in the group.  He didn’t even look at me.  It would have been soul crushing if I didn’t already know he was such a womanizer.. but he didn’t even try to talk to my friends who owns and loves two pairs of his shoes.  Serious rudeness.  It’s NYFW - and NYFW is shit - so drop the ego and talk to people.  MAYBE just maybe someone you meet will be a person who is COMPLETELY OBSESSED AND INSPIRED BY your work.
